Building Surveying Services
With 30 years of experience in surveying we can provide all your surveying needs for the home you are about to buy, the commercial building you are about to let or to simply inspect defects in your current property. Our reports have saved hundreds of clients tens of thousands of pounds and can be used to negotiate the price of the property and will help you decide whether to proceed with the purchase.
Our Full Building Survey, often referred to as “RICS level 3” or “ Full Structural” will cover every floor, wall, ceiling, doors, windows, up in roof spaces, down in cellars, all external walls, rainwater gutters, roof coverings etc. and will include an inspection of the gardens for Japanese knotweed or any other issues which may affect the property.
Our reports provide a detailed schedule of the inspection with all visible defects identified and any hidden risk, along with a cause, recommendation for repair and most importantly an estimated cost for repairs.

Planning and Building Regulations Services
Our experts will provide services from the production of plans for submission to relevant authorities through to submission and detailed negotiations with Planning Authorities and Building Regulations, including our team specialising in historic and Listed Buildings.
We have an excellent success record with Planning submissions, and many times have achieved Planning success where others have failed due to our commitment to clients and professional knowledge of Planning rules and law.
Our team also provide planning appeals when necessary using decades of knowledge and experience to negotiate with Planners and
Appeal Inspectors to obtain the best possible outcome for our clients.
Expert Witness Service
Being fully compliant with CPR35 (Civil Procedure Rules) and the RICS Guidance “Surveyors acting as expert witnesses 4th edition” our managing Director is legally trained with a post Graduate Diploma in Law and studied the Bar Vocational Course at BBP London including being a member of Middle Temple inns of court. We provide expert witness reports either for the individual party or as joint single experts instructed by the court. Our reports provide factual accounts of matters, detailing opinions and costs where possible and we provide court appearance services and testimony when required. Being legally trained toward becoming a Barrister and qualified with a relevant Law Degree our Managing Director has a huge wealth of experience as a Chartered Surveyor but also in the court room.
